ISSUE 046 | 10 October 2023

Hi friends!

I've had my marketing hat on the last week - trying to figure out all things lead magnets, funnels and email workflows for new subscribers. I can see why this is a full time job just on its own, let alone trying to juggle all the other million jobs of a small business!

The good news is I've nearly got it finished (also thanks to some help from my good friends at ethical marketing agency Harvey)  - and have a free 5 week impact series to send out to new subscribers. I'll make it available anyone else that's interested, just hit reply and let me know if you're keen.

Your questions answered on the Voice to Parliament

The Conversation asked readers what they would like to know about the Voice to Parliament. More than 9000 people took part in the survey in the lead up to the referendum, and then experts answered their questions.

It's really informative (and not biased)!

Renewable records in Australia

Renewable energy generation has soared to new heights earlier this week in Australia, with the combined contributions from rooftop solar and large-scale solar and wind pushing past 70% for the first time. On the flip side, the share of coal was crushed to new lows (read to the sounds of me madly clapping).

How to use Gmail more efficiently

This is a really old blog post that is still relevant - and I just recently implemented it myself. I had already been using multiple inboxes in my Gmail, but this system takes it to a new level.

I now have a ‘work' email inbox at the top, a ‘conservation’ inbox under that, then a ‘personal’ inbox, a ‘newsletter’ inbox under that, and finally a ‘awaiting reply’ inbox at the bottom.

Take a look and see if it's something you could implement and make your inbox more efficient.
