ISSUE 052 | 2 January 2024

Hi friends!

Happy New Year! I'm back to work tomorrow like a lot of people, and only remembered a newsletter is due tomorrow quite late in the piece :) So I have a list of some great podcasts, good news reading, and activities for the kids for the lucky ones still on holidays with some time up your sleeves.

January will see me easing back into work, building a new client portal, writing my FY22-23 impact report (a bit behind!), revisiting my digital course that's half written, and organising shoots for when everyone is back from holidays. Currently, I've got 35 jobs on my list eagerly awaiting shoot dates from clients. If you're one of them, it's a fantastic time to start considering autumn dates - let's get those plans in motion!

Happy holidays/return to work!

I've updated my list of favourite podcasts - a melange of business, economics, environment, science, architecture and the built environment, and a few other random ones in the mix.

66 good news stories you didn't hear about in 2023

News often focuses on the negative, missing stories of progress. This year, Future Crunch shared over 2,000 positive, world-changing narratives - human rights victories, disease eliminations, environmental wins, and more.

In their final list of 66, discover stories that surprise and reshape your perspective. Despite challenges, there's still definitely progress worldwide.
