My work – for the future

My practice has always been about making a positive impact, and especially helping others to make a positive impact.

It’s one of the reasons I pursued B Corp certification for my business in 2021. Now for 2022, I’m narrowing my field further to only take on projects that relate to either sustainable architecture or the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals.

Sustainable architecture

This area has become a focus for me in recent years, which has been a conscious choice as these projects tend to touch on every SDG.

Crucially, these projects are not just aspirational nice-to-haves but actual innovations in architecture, design and landscapes that have been realised and are already making a difference.

It is a privilege to help document architectural solutions that contribute to sustainable communities, improve energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions and much more.

I find these projects truly inspiring – learn more about some of them here.

Sustainable Development Goal projects

Outside of sustainable architecture projects, I will be exclusively working on projects that relate to any of the 17 SDGs.

Making this choice means I can be confident that my work is helping to increase important social, environmental, and economic change.

You’ll see the goals my clients are targeting in each project so I can be as transparent as possible.

So what won’t I be working on?

I’m aware that this shift means that the kinds of projects I’ve been known for will no longer be in my viewfinder. That includes residential gardens, ethical fashion or products.

If you’re not sure if your project relates to the SDGs, please get in touch via my contact form.
